The handle of the Abalone is engineered from 6061 -T6 aviation aluminum and features a high quality CNC D2 steel blade with Abalone inlay. Genuine Blue Abalone from the coast of Australia, polished and flush inlayed to immaculate finish. Praised for its high wear-resistance, D2 steel is a very durable and high-end knife steel that holds an edge very well.  This blade is extremely sharp.
