Daiwa Harrier Slow Pitch Saltwater Conventional Jigging Rod

A new rod in the popular line of Harrier jigging rods - the Harrier Slow Pitch Jigging Rod. It's designed for the more subtle technique of Slow Pitch jigging, where the jig is deployed much slower and more deliberately. It is a vertical jigging technique that has gained in popularity in Northeast, Southeast and Gulf fisheries. The thin profile blank, with a smaller diameter, delivers a sharp action and serves to better control the jig.

The HVF carbon technology constructed blank is lighter and stronger than conventional materials and well suited for the demands of coastal fishing. The blank is tough, durable and light in the hand. The X-45 Bias construction has greater strength and prevents twisting and ovalization. If the blank maintains hoop strength under load, it is much more powerful for its size.

  • One-piece conventional rod
  • Regular action
  • HVF Nanoplus allows for increased graphite density
  • X-45 Bias resists blank twisting
  • Unique EVA split grip
  • Fuji reel seat keeps strong connection to rod
  • Fuji FazLite tangle-free K-Series guides
  • Designed for braided line
  • Manufacturer's 5-year limited warranty
  • Number of guides: 12
